An LMI Approach to H∞ Filtering for Linear Parameter-Varying Systems with Delayed States and Outputs

چکیده
This paper considers the problem of delay-dependent robust H∞ filtering for linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems with time-invariant delay in the states and outputs. It is assumed that the state-space matrices affinely depend on parameters that are measurable in real-time. By taking the relationship between the terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula and a suitable change of variables into account, some new parameter-dependent delay-dependent stability conditions are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities so that the filtering process remains asymptotically stable and satisfies a prescribed H∞ performance level. Using polynomially parameter-dependent quadratic functions and some multiplier matrices, we establish the parameter-independent delay-dependent conditions with high precision under which the desired robust H∞ filters exist and derive the explicit expression of these filters. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the validity of the proposed design approach.

The robust state estimation problem is studied in this paper for a class of neural networks with multiple time-varying delays and norm-bounded parameter uncertainties. The problem is to estimate the neuron states through available measured outputs such that for all admissible time-delays and parameter uncertainties, the dynamics of the estimation error is globally stable. A sufficient condition...

In this paper, linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach for synchronization of chaotic fuzzy cellular neural networks (FCNNs) with discrete and unbounded distributed delays based on sampled-data controlis investigated. Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combining with the input delay approach as well as the free-weighting matrix approach are employed to derive several sufficient criteria in terms of...

In this paper we consider the problem of delay-dependent robustH1 control for uncertain fuzzy systems with time-varying delay. The Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model is used to describe such systems. Time-delay isassumed to have lower and upper bounds. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskiifunctional method, a sufficient condition for the existence of a robust $H_{infty}$controller is obtained. The fuzz...

This paper focuses on the non-fragile guaranteed cost control problem for a class of T-S fuzzy time-varying delay systems with local bilinear models. The objective is to design a non-fragile guaranteed cost state feedback controller via the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) approach such that the closed-loop system is delay-dependent asymptotically stable and the closed-loop performance i...
